การตั้งค่า GPRS บน Pocket PC Phone สำหรับระบบ AIS
1. ที่หน้าจอ Today Screen ให้แตะที่ปุ่ม Start แล้วเลือกที่ Settings
2. เลือกที่แถบ Connections แล้วเลือกไอคอน Connections
3. ในหน้า Settings ให้เลือกที่แถบ Advanced แล้วแตะที่ปุ่ม Select Networks
4. ในหน้า Network Management ให้แตะที่ปุ่ม New... ในส่วนของ Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:
5. ในขั้นตอนนี้ระบบจะให้เราตั้งชื่อในส่วนของการปรับแต่งค่า ให้ใส่คำว่า "AIS WAP Settings" ในช่อง Enter a name for these settings:
6. เมื่อตั้งชื่อเสร็จแล้วก็ให้เลือกที่แถบ Modem แล้วแตะที่ปุ่ม New...
7. ในหน้า Make New Connections นี้ให้เราใส่คำว่า "AIS GPRS WAP" ในช่อง Enter a name for the connection:
8. ถัดลงมาในส่วนของ Select a modem: ให้เลือกที่ Cellular Line (GPRS) แล้วแต่ที่ปุ่ม Next
9. ในหน้านี้ ให้เราใส่คำว่า "internet" ลงไปในช่อง Access point name: แล้วแตะที่ปุ่ม Next
10. ที่ช่อง User Name : ให้ใส่คำว่า "ais"
ที่ช่อง Password : ให้ใส่คำว่า "ais"
แล้วแตะที่ปุ่ม Finish
11. สุดท้ายให้แตะที่ปุ่ม ok ที่มุมบนขวาของจอจนครบ ก็เป็นอันเสร็จเรียบร้อย เตรียมพร้อมท่องอินเตอร์เน็ตบน Pocket PC Phone ได้เลย!!
วิธีการ Connect หรือ เชื่อมต่อกับระบบ GPRS
วิธีการเชื่อมต่อแบบมาตราฐานนี้จะทำได้ 2 วิธีคือ
วิธีที่ 1 : แตะที่ไอคอนรูปสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ แล้วตามด้วยการแตะที่ Connect GPRS
วิธีที่ 2 : ที่หน้าจอ Today Screen เข้าไปที่ Start --> Settings --> แถบ Connections --> ไอคอน Connections --> เลือกที่ข้อ Manage existing connects --> แตะค้างไว้ที่ชื่อระบบ GPRS ที่เราต้องการ --> เลือก Connect
หมายเหตุ : เนื่องจากใน PDA Phone แต่ละรุ่นนั้นอาจจะมีโปรแกรม Utilities ที่จะช่วยจัดการทั้งการตั้งค่าและการเชื่อมต่อ GPRS ให้สะดวกและง่ายดายขึ้น ซึ่งคงจะต้องตรวจสอบหรือศึกษาเพิ่มเติมในคู่มือหรือเว็บไซต์ต่างๆประกอบไปด้วย
